HAPPY 2017 DREAMERS!

We went to Pico De Loro Beach to celebrate New Year and because I cannot wait to show you how nice it is to spend New Year’s Eve by the beach, here is a year-starter post (because it’s too late for a year-ender now)!

Without the traffic and all, Pico De Loro Beach located at Nasugbu, Batangas is only an hour and a half drive from Dasmarinas, Cavite. But it actually took us almost three hours to go given the fact that we went there a day before New Year. During the twist and turns on the road, we've encountered some monkeys who were crossing the road or swaying from tree to tree. Too bad I didn't have the chance to take some photos because I was "too slow". HAHA.

Before we head on to the beach we stopped at what they call the "Overlooking" where you can see the beautiful seascape. It is perfect for your Instagram feed too so you should stop over for pictures. Also, beside it is a small kubo that sells Goto Batangas. And may I just say that it tastes amazing! So if you came from a farther place why not stop over their small kubo to eat?

As soon as we arrived at the place, we were greeted by the amazing amazing amazing view. You'll see a lot of greens of course because it's surrounded by mountains. As far as I know, if you're not a member of the country club, you'd have to go through registration. That's what we did. We waited for quite a while, but I do not think that their customer service was slow. Perhaps it was because there were a lot of us going through registration. We were given yellow "paper" bracelets that serves as a pass to enter.

This is our view from the room that we got. They have several buildings with a ton of rooms that you can stay at. Although I am not familiar with the process of getting rooms because it was my aunt who did the whole thing.

And of course, we cannot NOT visit the beach. It was low tide when we swam so I did not have any problem with straying far from the shore (because I do not know how to actually swim HAHA). It was very clean and refreshing. And it was well-maintained because you can't see anything lying around the white sand, except of course, the people who are trying to tan their skin and building sand castles. HAHA.

The all in all trip to Pico De Loro Beach and Country Club was recommendable. The staffs and employees were very accommodating. They always greet you with a smile and assists you up to the smallest things. The shuttle and carts were very prompt. They'll be where you need them to be. The whole place was very clean too! And the rooms are big enough for a family.
